Expect Delays The CO Highway 82 chip seal project will take place east of Aspen for approximately 14 miles from Mile Point 47.8 (winter closure gate) to MP 61.2 (Independence Pass summit). Monday, Aug 14th through Friday, August 18th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. intermittent one-lane alternating traffic guided by traffic control from MP 47.8 to MP 61.2 with 15-minute delays.
