Outdoor Activities

If you're in town for the 4th of July holiday and are looking for fun activities for the family, look no further than the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES). Today at 4pm on the Hallam Lake campus of ACES, you can get up close and personal with raptors at Eagles, Hawks and Owls. This fun and interactive hour introduces you to ACES's resident birds of prey. If you're more of a flora fan, you can also attend Know Your Trees at 4pm- an hour-long stroll around ACES's Hallam Lake neighborhood. You'll even get a Rocky Mountain tree booklet as a souvenir. Both events are free to the public.
