One of the nation’s most highly regarded literary gatherings, Aspen Summer Words (ASW), is a program presented by Aspen Words (formerly the Aspen Writers' Foundation). Summer Words is an annual six-day literary festival held in late June that features panel discussions, readings, and both juried and non-juried writing workshops led by award-winning writers and publishers. At Summer Words, event participants learn from some of the most successful and recognized writers in the world; attendees have the unique opportunity to learn from the absolute best.
One-part writers retreat, and one-part literary festival, Summer Words hosts intensive daily morning workshops for retreat participants to help them hone their craft.
