With the Aspen Ideas Festival continuing this week, cerebral explorations for adults are readily available. But what better way to bring the family together than a free BBQ and some intriguing science for the kids in your life? The weekly Physics BBQ , hosted by the Aspen Science Center and the Aspen Physics Center, offers an outdoor picnic for families complete with liquid nitrogen ice cream, hands-on science demonstrations, experiments and games and brief lectures by visiting scientists, all at child-level detail.  What could be cooler than hamburgers, chips and dark matter? Learn more at Aspen Science Center. The BBQ takes place at the Aspen Physics Center from 5-7pm each Wednesday this summer.
