Since 1887, St. Mary's Catholic Church on Main Street has held a St. Patrick's Day Dinner and this year's dinner takes place tomorrow - Tuesday, March 17. At 129 years and counting, this is Aspen's longest running charity event, raising monies for the church's Charity Assistance Fund, including the Aspen Homeless Shelter. The menu features roast beef and pork, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and green beans, but save space for the dessert! Live music will be provided by the Crowlin' Ferlies and the dinner takes place from 4 to 8pm. For details on this true Aspen community event, call St. Mary's office at (970) 925-7339.
